La Casa de Consuelo

This is a very pleasant hotel in a perfect location. Everything is just a few years old and very well maintained. It is owned/operated by a couple that go out of their way to insure a pleasant stay. There is a large number of guests that return every year and stay for at least a couple of months and some for the winter. It is a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. We stayed for 14 nights this month and loved the cleanliness of our unit and the grounds. The self contained apartment had your basic necessities. The grounds are beautifully landscaped. Everything was just a treat. We would definitely stay here again.

We came for 3 weeks last year and are here for 3 months this year. I have been coming here for many years and this is the best hotel in all of Guayabitos. It is family owned and operated and they are an amazing family. We are all one big happy family. The amenities are all first class. Internet is everywhere in the hotel and always reliable. The kitchens are well appointed and suites are all very nice. The pool area is lovely, the bar is great with a terrific bartender. Special occasions and activities are held and have been so much fun. We cannot imagine staying anywhere else. A big shoutout to the Rodriguez family for building such a wonderful hotel.

We spent a month this year in this lovely place, the first of what we hope will be many more visits. The owners have succeeded in creating a family atmosphere where everyone feels welcome and part of a community. The property is spotless and well maintained. It is close to stores and restaurants as well as the beach. Bravo Adriana and Alan and your wonderful staff.

My parents stayed here for 3 months and loved it. In fact, they're heading back next year. I came to stay with them 4 times during their 3 months and I'm beyond impressed with multiple things. The internet was fantastic (I need high speed), the service by Adrianna, Raul and the rest of the staff are beyond helpful and welcoming. The pool area has a bar and loungers and great music always playing. The units have everything you need for a comfortable 'home away from home'. Very impressed. 5 stars!

This has become our home away from home. The hotel is large enough to offer great space and yet cozy. The rooms offer everything you need and everything is kept clean. You can’t beat the location: butcher, baker, bodega all within a block and only two blocks from the beach. La Casa de Consuelo is family run and Adrianna and Alan are friendly, approachable and considerate. They organize wonderful events for guests. They also encourage guests to organize activities and then participate as well! We’ll be back!

Adrianna and Alan are WONDERFUL!. You could not ask for BETTER building operators than them! They welcome you like family with open arms and kindness in an effort to make your stay truly, a home away from home! They are attentive and responsive to any question or concern you have to ensure a quality and enjoyable time. The location of the building is central to everything you could ever need- bakery, groceries, butcher, pharmacy, marina and BEACH - all within a 5 minute walk! A huge shout out should be given for all amenities they’ve added to ensure a great and relaxing stay - such as laundry facilities, gym, sun chairs with towels, umbrellas and various beautifully decorated lounges including Canadian and US TV channels (CFL,NFL,NHL etc etc.) They added a second TV to ensure all residents could watch their favorite teams at the same time! I have very fond memories being at the main lounge watching major sports events with various residents! That was so much fun! The building was immaculate, and beautifully landscaped due to their wonderful, hard working staff who are always willing help as needed! My room (13) was big, airy and well outfitted with everyday kitchen essentials, king sized bed , a roomy walk in shower, balcony, fast WIFI, plus had ocean views. Bonus- Had consistent weather the entire time - 27-30c everyday! Only 2 days were periodically cloudy. Note- this casa is more those looking to relax and have some quiet time vs a party loud environment! (exception is when the game is on!) Also, I felt very safe walking anywhere and exploring the town. All locals were extremely friendly and accommodating! My next trip to Guayabitos, I would only want to stay here! Thank you Adriana and Alan (and family) for a fantastic month! ( Nov 13 - Dec 11) Can’t wait to do it again! Ps - the fishing was fantastic - our group caught 2 blue Marlins and Dorados (Maui Maui) I highly recommend this location “La Casa de Consuelo” in Ricon de Guyabitos for those who are looking for a SAFE and secured (locked gates at the entrance), clean, beautifully decorated, relaxing getaway!

Just completed our 3rd winter at Casa de Consuelo, which just might tell you all you need to know. Booked for a 4th stay next year! Adriana and Alan are excellent hosts, and Raul is the best bartender in Guayabitos! The rooms, the atmosphere, the amenities are all first class. The people we see each year are our family away from home. Good times always, from Super Bowl parties, to live bands for an evening of fun and dancing. Thank you to the Rodriguez family for providing such a welcoming experience.

My wife and I stayed here for 3 weeks in December and had a wonderful time. This was the first time visiting Guayabitos, Mexico and we were a little unsure of what to expect. Adriana, Allen and their family are wonderful on-site hosts and make everyone feel welcome and part of the family. The complex is made up of around 25 suites of varying accommodation levels. We stayed in a 3rd floor studio apartment with a comfortable king bed and simple kitchenette. The balcony overlooked the pool area and was a nice spot for morning coffee before it got too hot. I also appreciated being on that side of the complex as the street side is more active. Some guests prefer seeing the town and potential for some ocean view. There are also common areas for lounging and socializing that are equipped with barbecues and tables for dining outdoors. The location is very convenient for access to the beach, shops and restaurants all within a short walk. I really could go on and on! The fact that most of the guests are return visitors is testament to the efforts put forth by Adriana, Allen and their staff. We would definitely go back.
